We are for people with all types of cancer. Caregivers, family members and friends are welcome to attend. These small groups of 8-10 foster the development of friendship, support and encouragement. It is also an opportunity to gain information and learn new skills and techniques for living with cancer. Topics are based on suggestions from the group. Meetings are held bi-monthly via zoom at 3:00pm on the first Wednesday of each month and in-person or via zoom on the third Monday of each month at 11:30 am. In-person meetings are held in the Pink Zone Resource Center in the Shaner Cancer Pavilion at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College, PA.

Totes of Hope
When a person hears the words: "You have cancer", one is often shocked and overwhelmed. Our Totes of Hope program has been developed to help provide Centre County, PA survivors with resources and items to support each survivor through their journey with cancer. The Tote Bag of Hope has a notebook/organizer to help keep track of information about your diagnosis, treatement plan, questions to ask, appointments, test results, resource people, follow-up care and other notes. The bag also contains a water bottle, blanket and other helpful items.
If you are a resident of Centre County, PA and have not received a "Tote Bag" please contact Linda at 814-238-6220.
Celebration Of Life Activities
Celebration of Life activities are held throughout the year for cancer survivors, their caregivers, families and friends. One event is usually held in November and another in the Spring. These events are often planned with the help of students from Penn State in the RPTM (Recreation, Parks and Tourism Management) program. These are times of celebration and being thankful, with entertainment, fun activities and enjoyment. These events will be highlighted on this website.
